The DDA Board is responsible for overseeing policies, programs, and initiatives that support economic development and revitalization within the downtown district. Diane L. Parker is a dedicated entrepreneur, community leader, and passionate advocate for local businesses. Since 2016, she has been the proud owner and operator of BIGGBY Coffee in Flat Rock, Michigan. Her commitment to exceptional service, quality coffee, and community engagement has not only made her store a beloved gathering place but has also set a high standard for small business ownership. In addition to her Flat Rock location, Diane owns another BIGGBY Coffee in Clawson, Michigan, further expanding her reach and impact within the franchise network. Her influence extends beyond her own stores as she serves as an Area Representative for BIGGBY Coffee in Northwest Ohio, overseeing more than 25 locations. In this role, she supports franchisees, fosters collaboration, and ensures that each store upholds the values and quality associated with the BIGGBY brand.

As a Board member of the Flat Rock Downtown Development Authority, Jeremy Paul is dedicated to supporting the City’s revitalization and thoughtful economic growth. He brings over 13 years of experience in real estate investment, managing a diverse portfolio of single-family and multifamily properties since 2009.

Joseph Pagano is the Chairperson of the Downtown Flat Rock Downtown Development Authority, bringing longtime leadership and community commitment to downtown revitalization. He has served on the DDA Board since 2009 and is active in local events and initiatives that support economic development and civic engagement in Flat Rock.

Elizabeth Hendley serves as Director of Economic Development, bringing experience in municipal planning, zoning, and community development. She holds planning degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Rutgers University and supports thoughtful growth and downtown revitalization.

Board Leadership
